When designing systems and materials we usually look from the Learners' perspective. Not because a teacher-driven diadactic approach is ineffective; rather that the Internet and computer based material can be better designed and structured to support direct interaction by the student.

The science of Methetics is developing which looks at learning from this perpective and incorporates studies and research from paedagogical psychology, neurophysiology, and Information Technology.
