Much of the eLearning industry and marketing hype has focused around different competing learning platforms.

On principle we do not recommend or "sell" any particular technology platform to a client until we have analysed their needs in detail.

The Centre for Networked Learning is doing increasing amounts of work with Moodle, a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

It is a Free web application that educators can use to create effective online learning sites.

Since Moodle is free is is VERY cost effective for organisations to deploy, hence its popularity.

The Centre for Networked Learning can work with orgaisations to help their managerial, technical and teaching / training staff aquire the new skills to enable them to make effective use of Moodle and deliver value to their students.
